Support 01
Side effects, handled early.

Most people get something, most of it is mild, and it settles as your body adjusts. None of it is yours to manage on your own.

A clinician you can actually reach.

Message the team and a UK-registered clinician replies, a real person with your notes in front of them rather than a chatbot or a queue.

Your plan changes as you do.

Regular reviews check how you are getting on, step your dose up or hold it steady, and work through a plateau rather than wait it out.

Support 04
Your next delivery, before you run out.

Discreet delivery timed to your dose, with a reminder before each one, so you are never rationing or waiting on a refill.

How it feels

The first year, as it actually feels.

The noise quiets down

Food stops being the thing you think about between meals. Most people notice that first, well before the scales say anything at all.

I stopped thinking about what I would eat next. That was the first thing, weeks before the scales moved.

Rachel P. 12 weeks in

Three weeks in, a normal portion was enough, and I was not fighting anything to get there at all.

The stairs stop being a decision

Ten per cent off is where the body notices. Knees, sleep, the walk to the station: the ordinary things get their room back.

I walked up to the second floor and realised halfway that I had not stopped to think about it first.

Nadia K. 5 months in

My sleep changed before my clothes did. Nobody warned me that would be the part I noticed most.

It stops being a diet

By the end of the first year the habits are doing the work the medicine started. That is the part your team spends months building with you.

A year in, this is simply how I eat now. There is no plan to come off and nothing to go back to.

Marcus C. 12 months in

I stopped counting the weeks somewhere around month eight. It had stopped being a thing I did.

Side effect support

Support through the side effects.

Most of it is mild, and nearly all of it settles as your body adjusts. None of it is meant to be managed on your own.

  • Nausea

Usually worst in the few days after a dose rises. Smaller plates, eaten slowly, help more than anything we can prescribe.
  • Constipation

Food moves more slowly on these medicines. Water, fibre and a daily walk come first; your pharmacist can suggest more.
  • Tiredness

Eating far less is a real drop in fuel. It lifts once your intake steadies; if it does not, we look at your diet first.
  • Injection sites

A small red or itchy patch is common and short-lived. Rotate sites weekly, and tell us if it spreads or feels hot.
  • Heartburn

A slower stomach can push acid the wrong way after a late meal. Timing and portion size usually settle it.
  • Headaches

Common in the first weeks and often tied to eating and drinking less. Regular meals and fluids usually settle them.

FAQ

Your questions answered.

The things people ask us most before they start. If yours is not here, the assessment is free and a pharmacist reads every one.

Am I eligible for weight management treatment?

Usually a BMI of 30 or over, or 27 and over alongside a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. That is the starting point rather than the whole of it: your assessment covers your history, your measurements and anything you already take, and a prescriber decides from all of it. Some people who meet the BMI figure are still not suitable, and we will tell you if that is you.

How much weight could I expect to lose?

It depends on the medicine, the dose you settle on and what changes alongside it. The figures on this page are averages from clinical studies rather than a forecast for you, and your prescriber will talk through what is realistic in your case.

Pen or pill — which one will I be on?

Both are available and the choice is a clinical one made with you. A weekly injection and a daily tablet suit different lives; your prescriber will weigh what you have tried before, what else you take and what you would actually keep up.

What about side effects?

Most people get something, most of it is mild, and nearly all of it settles as your body adjusts. The side effect section on this page covers the common ones and what helps. None of it is meant to be managed on your own — message the team and a clinician replies.

Do I need to change how I eat and exercise?

Yes, and that is the point rather than the small print. The medicine makes the change possible; the habits are what keep the weight off once the prescription ends, which is what your reviews spend most of their time on.

What does the monthly cost cover?

The medication, your prescriber’s reviews, every dose change, and tracked delivery in plain packaging with nothing on the outside naming the contents. There is no separate consultation fee, nothing to pay to be assessed, and no charge for messaging your pharmacist between reviews. You will see the full monthly figure before you are asked to pay anything, and a monthly plan can be cancelled without notice.
